Marc Rapley is a Associate Partner at Consilium. He deals with all business classes and sectors, but in particular waste and recycling and high risk contractors from a property and casualty perspective.
He joined the group in November 2018 and has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry. After starting out working for an underwriting agency, over the last 10 years he has worked for various Lloyd’s brokers.
As an avid football fan, Marc spends much of his spare time following Chelsea FC across the country. Outside of football, Marc’s other main interest is music and he has been playing the guitar since the age of nine.
“I joined Consilium to be part of an exciting young business and a wholly independent London market broker. My decision to join has been fully justified by the successes and progression of the business since I arrived in 2018.”
We have relationships with specialist insurers and work with them to create bespoke property terms for firms operating in industries where we have deep expertise, and can source policies for all property owners.

Simon England is a business development manager for the North, Scotland and Ireland divisions of Consilium. Simon is responsible for the ongoing support, education and engagement of our broker partners.
Simon joined the group in August 2020 and has more than 30 years of industry experience, having previously worked for a number of large insurers, MGAs, a Lloyd’s retail business, and a network provider. Initially an underwriter, writing business in the fleet, property, liability and financial lines arena, Simon moved into development roles 15 years ago.
If he wasn’t working for Consilium, he would probably be travelling the world spending his kids’ inheritance and playing golf on some of the world’s best courses.

Shaun Woodhouse is a Senior Associate at Consilium.
Shaun joined Consilium in September 2018, having before this spent over 18 years as a sales professional within the insurance services, broking and legal sectors.
Outside of work, Shaun is a massive animal lover (dogs and horses) and collects classic motorcycles, with 14 so far.
