Role Summary
We seek a Senior Client Technical Manager to join our Professional and Executive Risk Solutions division. In this role, you will create policy documents such as MRCs, Endorsements, and other documentation.
Role Accountabilities
Producing Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements or other required documentation compliant with London Market guidelines.
Using internal and external tools to ensure that documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, taxes, etc, for that jurisdiction.
Ensuring that documents are peer-reviewed before being sent to markets and clients.
Liaise with Brokers and Client Services Executives daily to ensure that client instructions are adequately actioned.
Liaising with clients and insurers where required in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor renewals and assist brokers to ensure these are invited and completed promptly.
Full monitoring of risks (new and renewal) through their life cycle to file closure.
Inputting & updating policies on in-house systems accurately and timely.
Maintaining the company’s electronic filing system promptly and accurately.
Adherence to the company’s procedures relating to subjectivity tracking to ensure that these are actioned in good time.
Assist client services executives and IBA in resolving issues relating to the markets or clients' payments.
Using PPL to bind orders or endorsements as required by your team.
Carrying out reviews to ensure the quality of personal outputs and the wider team's.
Provide ad hoc support to Team Lead and other team members as needed.
Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
Minimum of 2- 5 years of insurance experience working for an insurance brokerage.
Experience specialising in Financial Lines, Cyber and D&O.
Ability to understand and create a London Market Reform Contract.
Manage a team of colleagues (preferred)
Experience with London Market processes and terminology.
At least 5 A-C (or equivalent) Grade GCSE, including English and Mathematics.
Insurance qualifications e.g. CII (preferred).
Skills and Abilities
High computer literacy and intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.
Able to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism.
Professional approach with an outcome-focused and positive attitude.
Team worker with the ability to work on their initiative.
Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
