A Consilium Welcome to Nicola Chapman

Nov 22

Joining us as Head of Claims, Nicola has almost 20 years of claims experience working for independent brokers. Most recently, Nicola worked as a Claims Manager at TUE.

Nicola’s appointment is part of the continued investment into the dedicated Claims team. As this team develops, it will enable Consilium to further support our brokers through the complexities of the claims process. By anticipating broker needs, Consilium can advance an exceptional service for both broker and client.

As part of the Aventum family, Nicola will devise and drive a market-leading claims advocacy proposition supported by Duncan Childs. Nicola joins the team in quick succession to James Baird - who recently joined as Broking CEO and Managing Partner of Consilium.

Aventum CEO David Bearman credits the hiring of new faces at the forefront of Consilium’s growth plans, helping brokers be the best they can be. In a statement he said, “We only hire the best people our industry has to offer because the best people drive the best outcomes.”

Following a year of heavy investment in Consilium, Bearman’s global growth plans show no signs of slowing down into 2023 and beyond. He said,

“In 2023, we will bring Consilium to new territories and product lines and build upon the existing Consilium brand and client base.”

While Consilium has had an excellent claims resource from central services shared across the Aventum Group, James Baird is optimistic about what the new claims service, and Nicola’s appointment, will mean for Consilium. He said, “We have made our claims service a priority - from claims analytics and risk management to advocacy services. This investment means we can further support clients through the claims process, negotiating proactively on their behalf.”

Delighted to welcome Nicola as the global Head of Claims, Consilium looks forward to working with her in the future.
