Alina Salgado is an account executive at ConsiliumRe focused on property business from Latin America.
She joined the group in May 2021, having previously worked as a reinsurance broker in Mexico City, a reinsurance officer at an insurance company in Honduras, and as a customer service officer at a bank in Honduras.
Outside of work, Alina likes to travel to new places, meet new people, read, watch movies and TV series, and share quality moments with friends and family.

Senior Account Executive
Alison Walker is a senior account executive at Consilium. Alison is responsible for renewals and new business for our UK non-motor team, covering a wide range of trades and classes of insurance.
She joined the group in July 2018 from Miles Smith, where she had been for nearly 12 years. Starting in the industry at a young age, Alison has carried our various roles in her career to date.
Outside of work, Alison once appeared in a documentary about the Von Trapp family and The Sound of Music.

Head of Specialist Risks
Andy Graham is head of specialist risks at Consilium. Andy is responsible for specialist liability risks and developing existing and new facilities for the group.
He joined the group in July 2020 having worked at Lloyd's broking firms for 34 years. This has included time at PWS International in UK account handling and time with Windsor Insurance Brokers specialising in liability. He then joined Griffiths and Armour London, which would later become COBRA London Markets, where he was a director.
Outside of work, Andy has both flown and jumped out of an aeroplane, among some other crazy things.

Senior Account Executive
Chris McAdams is a senior account executive for Consilium. Chris works in the motor fleet team and is responsible for strategic business placement and broker/underwriter relationship building.
He joined the group in November 2020 and has over 11 years of experience in motor fleet insurance. This has included involvement in both underwriting and broking for Lloyd’s syndicates and national brokers.
When he isn’t working for Consilium, you'll often find Chris on the golf course “trying” to improve his handicap.

Christian Warrener is the head of reinsurance at ConsiliumRe. Christian focuses on growing and developing the business into a reinsurance broking force.
He joined the group in February 2020 from RFIB, having also previously worked at Willis, Guy Carpenter and Lockton, where he has gained the experience of working with large company networks as well as with smaller independent clients. He has experience placing all types of accounts from large international conglomerates to small single locations.
When Christian isn’t working for ConsiliumRe, he can be found enjoying sports, cooking and travelling, as well as spending quality time with the family.

Founder and CEO
David Bearman is the founder and CEO of Aventum Group, chairman of Rokstone Group, and CEO of Consilium.
David developed what is today Aventum Group as an 18-year-old in 1996. Since then he has forged a unique path forward, taking the business from a small commercial retail broker, to a global (re)insurance broking and underwriting business, on course to control $1bn GWP by 2023.
On this 25-year journey to date, David has been at the heart of both the London market broking and MGA scenes, founding successful brands in sectors of these markets where he sees opportunity.
Alongside his experience placing and underwriting reinsurance and insurance products, schemes and delegated authority arrangements, he has also established and developed many of these products. These include Property, Casualty, Motor Fleet, Plant & Equipment, Marine Cargo, Legal Expenses, Professional Indemnity, Latent Defects and Extended Warranty, which he has marketed across multiple trades and industries.
He has achieved and developed relationships with numerous global capacity providers, forming an extensive client network with a results-focused approach as a core business strategy.
Most of all though David is an entrepreneurial leader. He has built the Group from the ground up all without external investment, and is constantly seeking out new directions to expand the Group. He looks to bring in talent that shares his attitude to working, and finding new ways to break from traditional ways of providing insurance.
Senior Account Executive
Dean Temple is a senior account executive at Consilium. Dean is responsible for motor fleet renewals and growing new business in London through the Lloyd’s and MGA markets.
He joined the group in 2018, and has 37 years of motor fleet experience. He previously spent five years as an underwriter at Brit Insurance before moving to Catlin to help set up a new motor fleet department.
If he wasn't working for Consilium, you would find him watching new bands live every week at various venues.

Ethan Davey is an account handler in the non-motor sales team at Consilium. Ethan is responsible for handling accounts, and ensuring the process runs smoothly.
He has been in the insurance industry for over two years, having previously been employed by Marsh. His main focus is to be a broker and build great lasting relationships with brokers and insurers.
If Ethan wasn’t working at Consilium he would most likely be on his football scholarship in America trying to make it a career.

Processing Team Leader
Georgia Thurgood is the processing team leader at Consilium. Georgia is responsible for the admin team on non-motor and ensuring all risks are managed smoothly and efficiently.
Georgia joined the group in May 2014, initially as a senior account administrator. Before that she worked within insurance at Xchanging for over a year.
When Georgia isn’t working for Consilium, you can find her hiking, and doing anything environmentally friendly. She would love to go completely eco one day.

Non-Motor Renewals Manager
Graham Adams is an account executive for Consilium. Graham works in our UK non-motor department.
He joined the group in January 2018, having previously worked at a well-established Lloyd’s broker specialising in the construction industry. He has over six years’ experience across a number of insurance-based roles and classes.
If he wasn’t working at Consilium, Graham would probably be paddle boarding along a beach.

Delegated Authority Technician
Hannah Esposito is a delegated authority technician at Consilium within the DUA team.
Her experience includes 12 years within the insurance industry working for both insurers and brokers. Hannah started out in insurance working for Xchanging and has in-depth knowledge of the Lloyd’s market.
“I joined seven years ago and was excited to join a new and fast growing company and be part of the initial London team to help grow the group.”
Hayley Lewin is an account handler at Consilium. Hayley is responsible for the handling and processing of new business and renewals within the non-motor team, mainly focusing on the liability/casualty side.
Hayley previously worked for another London market broker for four years on their casualty department in a similar role which gave her the experience and knowledge needed to work efficiently with agents and underwriters.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys drawing and has recently started transitioning towards digital art from the traditional pencil and paper.

Jason Jones is a claims assistant for ConsiliumRe.
He joined the company in April 2021, having previously worked as a healthcare assistant, police constable and claims technician.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys going to the pub.

Head of Motor
Kevin Dawes is the head of motor for Consilium. Kevin oversees motor fleet placement for the division.
He joined the group in October 2020 and has over 20 years of London market motor fleet experience, both in broking and underwriting. He was previously head of motor underwriting for HDI Global, and is a very well-known and respected figure in the market, able to help with difficult to place risks.
Kevin is an FA qualified football coach and much of his spare time is devoted to training and developing players.

Senior Account Executive
Liam Keaveney is a senior account executive at Consilium. Liam works with our UK brokers to ensure they receive swift and professional service for their London market fleet business.
He joined the group in 2012, initially in charge of online marketing/development from our Billericay retail office. From there he has moved up and carved a path within the motor fleet team since its inception in 2013.
Liam is an avid motorsport fan and a general fan of all things on four wheels. Most years he can be found at the annual Nürburgring 24-hour and Le Mans 24-hour races watching and wishing he was taking part

Senior Account Executive
Marc Rapley is a senior account executive at Consilium. He deals with all business classes and sectors, but in particular waste and recycling and high risk contractors from a property and casualty perspective.
He joined the group in November 2018 and has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry. After starting out working for an underwriting agency, over the last 10 years he has worked for various Lloyd’s brokers.
As an avid football fan, Marc spends much of his spare time following Chelsea FC across the country. Outside of football, Marc’s other main interest is music and he has been playing the guitar since the age of nine.

Head of UK Wholesale
Matthew Pini is the group head of UK wholesale for Consilium. Matt is responsible for the growth, development and profitability of the division, striving to achieve this by working closely with insurers and retail agents alike.
He joined the group in July 2015 and has spent a total of 25 years within the London market working for various Lloyd’s brokers. In that time he has forged strong relationships with underwriters that allow for the very best deals to be negotiated and transacted.
When he isn’t working for Consilium, Matt can be found running his son’s football team. He is also a pained Everton supporter.

Michael Adams is a senior broker at Consilium. Michael is responsible for risk placement into the Lloyd’s and London market across all UK classes, but has a large focus on casualty business.
He joined the group in March 2018, having previously worked as a Lloyd’s broker for Folgate Insurance. Prior to that, he had 10 years’ experience in senior claims roles with insurers/brokers including QBE and Gallagher.
If Michael wasn’t working for Consilium he would be travelling the world following Spurs whilst enduring a continued lifetime of football misery.

Head of Claims
Neil Odell is the head of claims within ConsiliumRe’s London market claims division.
He joined the group in December 2016, having previously worked as a claims broker and claims underwriter for various companies. He started working in the insurance claims sector after leaving secondary school.
Neil is a keen sportsman and a lover of being in the outdoors, whether it’s snowboarding or sat by a lake fishing with his children.

Business Development Manager - South
Shaun Woodhouse is a business development manager at Consilium.
Shaun joined Consilium in September 2018, having before this spent over 18 years as a sales professional within the insurance services, broking and legal sectors.
Outside of work, Shaun is a massive animal lover (dogs and horses) and collects classic motorcycles, with 14 so far.

Business Development Manager - North
Simon England is a business development manager for the North, Scotland and Ireland divisions of Consilium. Simon is responsible for the ongoing support, education and engagement of our broker partners.
Simon joined the group in August 2020 and has more than 30 years of industry experience, having previously worked for a number of large insurers, MGAs, a Lloyd’s retail business, and a network provider. Initially an underwriter, writing business in the fleet, property, liability and financial lines arena, Simon moved into development roles 15 years ago.
If he wasn’t working for Consilium, he would probably be travelling the world spending his kids’ inheritance and playing golf on some of the world’s best courses.

Delegated Underwriting Authority Manager
Stuart Backhouse is the DUA manager at Consilium. He is responsible for the management of group delegated authority arrangements, supporting the on boarding, placement and lifecycle oversight activity aspects on behalf of our trading platforms and insurer partners.
Stuart joined the group in December 2019, having previously worked in the delegated authority space for a number of firms, including MS Amlin and Hardy Syndicate.
If Stuart wasn't working for Consilium, you'd find him travelling to F1 circuits or concert venues for live band performances.

Will Beeston is an account executive at ConsiliumRe. Will works in our international property team, focusing on Latin American property and Australian property.
After graduating from Sheffield University in 2014 with an economics degree, Will spent four years at Guy Carpenter in their facultative team, working both on the technical and broking sides.
If Will wasn’t working at ConsiliumRe, he would be travelling and attending live music events. He is also a keen football enthusiast.

Broker Services Executive
Bryan Taylor is a portfolio manager for Consilium eXponential, responsible for liaising with clients carriers, internally and any others to ensure all parties are happy.
Bryan joined the group in November 2021. He started his insurance career at Xchanging before moving to RKH as a technician. After eight months there he moved to Price Forbes where he spent five years before moving onto Ed. He spent 18 months there in the A&H team before joining Aventum.
Outside of work, Bryan is kept busy by his four daughters and one grandson. He is also a keen motorcyclist, whether that be riding or watching two-wheeled motorsport live or on TV. He also likes socialising with friends and long winter walks with his family dog.

Christian Watson is an aviation broker at Consilium, responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with Consilium’s network of new and renewal clients, underwriters and brokers.
He joined the group in August 2021, having previously worked in the aviation market for eight years with three different insurance brokers, Boston Marks, Lockton, and most recently Grimme Butcher Jones.
Outside of work, Christian likes lots of sports, including golf, football, squash, and working out in the gym. He also enjoys cooking on the BBQ, travelling with friends, and trying new experiences.

David Ireland is a senior account executive at Consilium, responsible for renewals and new business for the UK non-motor team.
He joined the group in March 2022, with over 35 years’ insurance experience. This includes over 10 years with an MGA and the rest with three different Lloyd’s brokers in the UK and Irish non motor markets.
Outside of work, David enjoys watching sport and playing golf and football. He also likes music, film and travelling.

Broker Support Team Leader
Emma Rutter is the broker support team leader at Consilium.
She joined the group in May 2022, and has been in the industry for about 12 years. Before insurance she ran her own business from home buying and selling young showjumping horses.
Outside of work, Emma owns three horses – Lola, Dallas and Luna, all of which are out competing at national level mostly in showjumping and event.

Broker Services Executive
Gregory Oxlade is a broker services executive at ConsiliumRe responsible for general administrative duties, and providing broker and team lead support.
He joined the group in December 2021, having previously graduated from Queen Mary University, London, where he studied geography with business management.
Outside of work, Gregory enjoys playing football, cricket and golf, watching Arsenal and Saracens, and meeting with friends.

Inga Mashkova is an account executive at ConsiliumRe, responsible for property accounts located in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
She joined the group in April 2022, having previously worked as an international partnership development executive, specialising in developing strategic partnerships with network partners across the world and global brokers.
Outside of work, Inga is very keen on exhibitions, books, and documentaries about Mars and the Cosmos. She also enjoys reading and attending horse events.

Jack Mullinder is an associate director at ConsiliumRe, responsible for US property and terrorism placements.
He joined ConsiliumRe in December 2021, having previously spent two years at Ed Broking, and before that six years at Aon.

Reporting and Oversight Technician
Laura Cruickshank is a DUA reporting & oversight technician within DUA/eXponential, responsible for liaising with clients and carriers to ensure contracts run as smoothly as possible.
Laura joined the group in December 2021, having worked within various other sectors of the insurance world. This includes working in DUA at an MGA, and in claims, auditing, operations, and as a systems analyst.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, city breaks and travelling, and watching and participating in sports. Being a huge history geek she reads, and watches anything she can on the subject, even attending historical re-enactments when possible.

Business Development Manager
Lee Raikes is a business development manager at Consilium, with a specific responsibility for the south region.
He joined Consilium in January 2022, having previously been in the Lloyd’s and London market for 15 years holding various broking and underwriting roles.
Outside of work, Lee likes to coach and watch rugby, play golf, support Manchester City, and enjoy a few beers to the music of Oasis!

Broker Services Executive
Luke Morgan is a broker services executive at ConsiliumRe responsible for supporting brokers, and inputting data from renewals and endorsements. His role also includes creating debit notes for various accounts.
He joined the group in December 2021, having just graduated from the University of Winchester, where he studied geography.
Outside of work, Luke trains in the martial arts, and enjoys snowboarding, and watching sports with friends.

Nádia Pontes is a broker support, responsible for processing accounts, creating slips, endorsements, and credit notes, and liaising with clients.
Nádia joined ConsiliumRe in May 2021, having previously worked in customer service, hospitality, childcare.
Outside of work, Nádia is a fan of Sporting CP, a Portuguese football club.

Nick Bird is a senior account executive at Consilium, responsible for handling PI enquiries.
He joined the group in January 2021, having previously spent two years as a PI Construction broker at Gallagher, and before that three years at THB.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing golf and football, and going out with friends.

Broker Support Executive
Client Service Team Leader
Robert Smyth is the client service team leader at ConsiliumRe, responsible for leading the client service team, allocating renewals, slip production etc, and training new team members in using our systems.
He has worked in reinsurance for about 25 years, working in broking and underwriting, and in broker support and team leader roles. During that time he has dealt with facultative, excess of loss, and pro rata across many lines of business, including property, motor, construction and engineering, among others. He joined ConsiliumRe in May 2021.
Outside of work, Robert has played cricket, football and badminton to a high level, and he currently still plays cricket most weekends. He has also added golf to the list of sports he enjoys playing.
“I had numerous calls about the role, but in the end it was the way the company was described to me, what they wanted to do and where they wanted to go that impressed me. I realised there was a lot of passion for what was going on and from where ConsiliumRe started off, it is growing quickly.”
Head of Exponential
Roshan Choolhun is the head of Consilium Exponential, Aventum’s Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) offering, combining a number of service provisions with the DUA Sphere to add value to our independent clients.
He joined the group in September 2021, having worked with several other independent brokers of varying sizes. This includes time at Chesterfield, RKH/Howden, and Ed Broking.
Outside of work, Roshan trains amateur boxers and is a keen runner, swimmer and cyclist. He rides a motorcycle and has a wife, two kids and a small, very cute cockerpoo named Honey (which does wonders for his East End boxing trainer image).

Scott Smith is the account director for aviation at ConsiliumRe, responsible for growing the aviation insurance book.
He joined ConsiliumRe in June 2021, having owned an aviation insurance brokerage in South Africa for 13 years.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys exploring the country with his wife and daughter, who are new to the UK. He likes to go fly-fishing, run, play a bit of golf, and cycle some trails in his area.

New Business Executive
Solomon Archer-Scott is a new business executive for Consilium.
Solomon joined Consilium in June 2021, with three years’ experience as an account handler in the London market, working for Citynet and Miles Smith.
Outside of work, Solomon is originally from Cornwall and enjoys surfing, although living in London has made this more difficult. He likes travelling to the coast at weekends when he can.
